Paddleboarding or kayaking the Colorado River can be an awesome experience for paddlers of all skill levels.

The thought of kayaking the Colorado River is a bit intimidating for most paddlers, but it doesn’t have to be. As the Wyldes point out in the video below, it all depends on where you start your trip.

In the clip below they share with us how to paddle the calmest and most jaw-dropping sections of the Colorado river. It stretches from stretch for 15 miles from Glen Canyon Dam ( Page, AZ) to Lees Ferry, AZ. This section of the river doesn’t require you to be an expert paddler. Furthermore its not expensive and it doesn’t require a lot of advanced planning.

There are many well maintained campsites, no permit requirements and unlike many think there are no rapids to worry about when kayaking this section of this suggested section of the Colorado River.
