DIY Bimini Kayak Top (Video)

A neat way to put a lid on your kayak.

Watch how to construct a do-it-yourself  bimini top for your kayak from 2 10 ft long PVC tubes with 3 45 degree joints to which you attach a piece of fabric and rope.

In this particular video  a Perception Sport Caster 12.5 kayak is used to demo how it is done.

The process is fairly simple and utilizes the kayak’s rod mounts to secure the PVC tubes that support the top.

The overal process to construct the top and attach it to tehkaya is fairly simple and should take no more than a few hours to complete.
