Kayaking New Jersey Pine Barrens

Kayaking in the New Jersey pine barrens offers a uniquely different kayaking experience.

Kayaking in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey is an experience that should not be missed. The state’s largest natural area, the Pine Barrens stretches across over 1,000 miles and covers nearly half of the state. It has been called one of the last great wilderness areas left in the country. It is a place where one can find solitude and quiet. There are no cars, no people, and no cell phones. You can see the stars at night and hear the owls hooting. There are also plenty of birds to see, such as woodpeckers, warblers, vireos, flycatchers, and hummingbirds. If you want to see the Pine Barrens at its best, plan your trip for late September or early October when the weather is still warm and the insects are still active.

Kayaking the Pine Barrens is something you will never forget. It is like being in another world. There are so many different places to paddle. You can go to the beach and swim, but there is no sand to dig into. You can go to the waterfalls and splash around in the water, but you cannot touch the rocks. You can go to the ponds and wade in the water, but there is no fishing allowed. So, what do you do? You paddle. There are so many different paddling routes. One of the most popular is the route along the Pohatcong Creek. This is a very scenic route, with lots of wildlife to see. The creek winds through the Pine Barrens and offers a nice calm area to paddle in.

You can also kayak down the Delaware River from the Pine Barrens to Philadelphia. This is a great way to get out of the heat and enjoy some fresh air. You can also take a kayak up the Delaware River and into the Schuylkill River. This is a great place to go if you want to paddle in the river, but it is also a great place to fish. There are plenty of spots along the river where you can cast your line and catch a few trout.

If you are looking for something a little different, try going to the Delaware Bay. This is a great place for sea kayaking. The bay is shallow and the water is warm. You can also go to the coast and see the surf crashing against the rocks. If you have never been sea kayaking before, this is a great way to learn. The waves are gentle and the shoreline is safe. The water is calm and you will feel like you are floating on a cloud.

If you are planning to go to the Pine Barrens more than once, renting a kayak is a good idea. You can also use the rental company’s guides to help you find the best places to paddle. They most likely have been paddling the Pine Barrens for years and they know all the best places to go.
